Aqua Nature FLORA-FE (II) – 120 mL

Aqua Nature FLORA-FE (II) is a concentrated ferrous iron supplement formulated for freshwater planted aquariums. It provides readily available iron to support healthy plant growth, improve leaf coloration, and help red aquatic plants develop stronger red tones. Iron deficiency can appear as pale or yellowing new leaves, transparent leaves, and reduced growth.

Usage Guideline

Shake well before use. The manufacturer’s dosage is approximately 5 mL per 190 L (50 US gallons) of aquarium water. Aqua Nature’s product page suggests repeating this 2–3 times per week or as needed; its catalogue lists daily or every-other-day dosing, so for normal planted tanks I would start conservatively at 2–3 times weekly and adjust according to plant density and signs of iron deficiency. 

For easy reference: 50 L ≈ 1.3 mL, 100 L ≈ 2.6 mL, 150 L ≈ 4 mL, and 190 L = 5 mL.

Do not overdose, especially when lighting and CO₂ are limited, because excess available nutrients can contribute to algae problems. Do not use FLORA-FE (II) and FLORA-FE (III) together; Aqua Nature recommends keeping about a one-week gap between them. Store in a cool, dry place and keep out of reach of children.
