Growow Vesicularia dubyana -‘Java moss’

Vesicularia dubyana is the classic, near-indestructible moss featuring delicate, irregularly branched green fronds. It is best used attached to rocks or driftwood or as a “carpet” for shrimp to graze on and hide in. Highly adaptable, it thrives in almost any lighting and doesn’t require CO2​ to grow steadily. It provides excellent surface area for beneficial bacteria and is a vital spawning site for many fish. Regular pruning is necessary to prevent the bottom layers from turning brown due to a lack of light.
