FIRE EEL 55cm

The Fire Eel, also known as the Freshwater Spiny Eel, is a striking fish characterized by its elongated, snake-like body and vibrant red spots along its lateral line. It typically inhabits freshwater rivers and streams in Southeast Asia. With a nocturnal nature, it spends much of its time hiding in caves or under rocks during the day, becoming more active at night when it hunts for small fish and invertebrates. This eel can grow quite large, reaching lengths of up to 30 inches or more in captivity, making it a captivating addition to large aquariums for experienced fishkeepers.
